E-Waste; the Fastest Growing Waste System

What happens to this stuff?

Kokomo Area Creation Care will host Jan Rankin, Executive Director of the Wabash County Solid Waste Management District, as our guest speaker on Thursday, May 9, at 7:00 p.m.  Her presentation will explain what comprises electronic waste, or e-waste, and the problems and solutions of how to safely dispose of it, keeping its dangerous chemicals and compounds out of landfills.

The meeting will be held at Christ Lutheran Church, 3401 S. Dixon Road, Kokomo, at 7:00 p.m.  Light refreshments and fellowship begin at 6:45 p.m.

The mission of Interfaith Power & Light is to be faithful stewards of Creation by responding to global warming through the promotion of energy conservation, energy efficiency, and renewable energy. Our group meets on the second Thursday 10 times a year.  We invite individuals and persons of all faith communities.
